The Reality Check (1999)
Walking into police orientation as one of only six women among 120 recruits, Sasha quickly learned she'd have to navigate a world where female leaders were viewed through a narrow, often hostile lens. That moment fueled 26 years of proving that women could lead with both strength and authenticity, without sacrificing either.
The Crisis Commander (2017)
Sasha was part of the original incident command team responding to the Route 91 mass shooting in Las Vegas in 2017. Working alongside fellow first responders and agency leaders, she helped coordinate the response during one of the most devastating tragedies in American history. The experience reinforced her belief that effective crisis leadership requires both tactical excellence and compassion for those affected.
The Bridge Builder (2010-Present)
Creating the Fusion Liaison Officer Program, Sasha brought together communities that had never spoken before—preventing radicalization by giving people connection, identity, and purpose before hate could take root.
